Teen & Adult: Ages 13 & Up

If you are looking to improve your fitness level, learn self-defense, and meet interesting people, then our program is perfect for you. You will love our motivating, high energy class that is specifically designed to accommodate the ages of 13 years and older.  It will help you get in shape, as well as teach you great self-defense skills. It's never to late to get started-whether you're 21 or 81, we have a class and program just right for you

Our Teen/Adult class offers a number of different benefits including physical, mental and social development, in addition learning self-defense that are applicable both in the ring and on the street. 
Apart from Tae Kwon Do being a great physical workout, it also develops mental focus. Students learn to concentrate under pressure while directing their energy in a positive manner.

Confidence

Through repetition, our structured program uses memorization skills for the muscles and the mind, increasing each student’s ability to learn.  This process increases self-esteem, generating more capable and confident individuals. For parents, it is nice to see that your teen often carries these abilities outside the training center, helping them to become more receptive students academically.

Physically Rewarding

On the physical side, you will see improvement in your strength, control, flexibility, coordination and endurance. Tae Kwon Do is an excellent means of achieving total physical fitness, controlling weight, learning self-defense skills or just adding an exciting new dimension to your life.  The Adult/Teen class can give you a safe, professional environment for achieving your goals. This class is approximately 45 minutes in length starting with an extensive warm-up routine, stretching regimen and curriculum techniques which are used in drills, and learning forms.
Family Classes - All Ages

Dragonfly Tae Kwon Do's Family Class is designed to accommodate individuals who cannot fit one of our other classes in their schedule or for families who want to train together. Our program incorporates practical self-defense, learning forms, kicking techniques, blocking, and hand techniques. We start you off within your own ability and help you progress at your own rate. This allows us to start new students at any time and blend them into our classes.

Students train for many reasons. They train to strengthen themselves mentally and physically, to gain flexibility, and to perfect their Tae Kwon Do techniques.  The training and exercises will help you keep trim, fit and in good health. Besides keeping you physically fit, Tae Kwon Do is effective and powerful when used in self-defense situations.  Tae Kwon Do is an activity that the family can do together.  This is a great way to gain the benefits of Tae Kwon Do for your entire family in a single class.  The Family Class provides a positive Tae Kwon Do program developed specifically for individuals of all ranks and ages.  Make new friends and get a boost of positive attitude in a safe and friendly environment.
